My goal of 1,000 km is on schedule. As of 25 January I should have run 68.5 km. I have run 67.6. So, I am down about 800 meters; which really isn’t too bad. the past two weekends, I had been running a 10 km route I made. But I took Saturday off last week. Since I hyper-extended my knee, it hurts a little bit to run. Actually it hurts more to walk than to run.
In theory, if I run about 5 km after work one day a week, then run one of the Auckland hashes, then a 10 k on Saturday, I will have about 23 – 24 km a week.
I made it through week one. 20 km run. The goal is 1,000 km this year. Follow me on Strava for updates. Oh, I’ve also lost 4 kg since Christmas. Bought some new shorts today. My fat shorts don’t work anymore.
